Our Purpose

* To provide a safe and happy environment for children when they are at church.
* To encourage the growth of each child spiritually, emotionally, mentally, physically, and socially.
* To encourage the active participation of parents in Worship, Bible Study, Visitation, and Fellowship.
* To promote a sense of cooperative endeavor among parents and workers.
* To provide a place where members of Kingston Road Baptist Church can become servants of God through their love for preschoolers.

FYI

* Preschool facilities will be open 15 minutes prior to and after church service or activity.
* A parent should pick up a child immediately following the service or activity.
* To avoid confusion and congestion in the preschool area, only one parent should pick up the child. Please help us by keeping the doors closed.
* No children above preschool age (5) will be permitted in the Preschool room. If possible, wait at the door, and your child will be brought to you.
* Children may be brought to the Preschool only if the parent or guardian is attending a church function.

The Preschool Department Dedication

You probably notice at the bottom of each of the webpages it says "Kingston Road Baptist Church Preschool Department is dedicated in memory of Elaine Taylor." Elaine Taylor was Kingston Road's, formally Morningside Baptist, Preschool Director for a little over 30 years. Miss Elaine taught and watched many, many children grow up in the church. She also taught the Children's Choir and the Hand Bells for many years. She was also a School Teacher for a number of years. She dedicated her life to teaching and helping children. Her most important part of teaching was teaching children about Jesus Christ. She became a mom and a grandmother to many children. Miss Elaine passed away December 26, 2006. She is dearly missed by all. We are all honored and priviledged to have kown and worked with her. We know she watches over the children everyday.
